Here's what other's thought of The Suunto Vector altimeter/barometer/compass Watch:

It's tough as hell.
Mike. C (2):
Although TIMEX coined the phrase, "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking", This watch does also. I used it for Land Nav and predicting weather patterns while in U.S.ARMY RANGER School. I beat it to death...or so I thought. I think the ad is wrong, because mine has a thermometer and I know it's a Vector. Anyway, It's the best purchase I've made except for my Stones records.

Review of Suunto Vector watch
A.Fallico (1):
I own 5 of these watches, and find them aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Although large in size, the watch fits comfortably on my wrist. At times it can be hard to use (changing time, formats), but I would recommend the sunto to anyone.

Sunto--Harsh conditions
Scooter McKnight (1):
Excellent watch, I did find that in a stable environment the barometer was very accurate, but in a fluctuating environment, the feature was tiring to keep adjusting during the day to get an accurate reading. The same goes with the altimeter function, because it is tied to the barometer. Overall the watch itself has proven to be useful, although I would not give it a high rating.
