Red Hills Briar Pants
The heavy canvas facing on these warm-weather hunting pants is the same
time-tested material that’s been used for over seventy years. In fact,
we used briar pants worn by Orvis Chairman Leigh H. Perkins’s mother,
Katharine Haskell Perkins, to duplicate the color and briar resistance.
The facing is pre-washed at the factory, and then the entire pant is
rewashed to soften it up before it is shipped. Highly dense yet fully
breathable 100% cotton poplin from England is selected for its
lightweight but rugged qualities, like turning away briars. Features
